Last year, my friends and I received devastating news that one of our own was diagnosed with breast cancer at the early age of 32. It was news that saddened and scared me to my core. How can this ugly disease invade my beautiful friend?
Luckily, Jennifer caught it early. She found a pea sized lump while doing a self breast exam and immediately made an appointment with her doctor. Breast cancer runs in her family, as two of her aunts have had it. The good news was that 1)it was detected early and was very treatable, 2)she did not have to have a mastectomy or chemo and the BIG 3)she was going to survive!
Jennifer endured painful radiation treatments and is continuing to take medication, BUT she is CANCER FREE! And it is a BEAUTIFUL thing!
Tonight, 5 of her best friends are gathering for a surprise PINK dinner party to celebrate her life and her health!
I can't wait to see the surprise on her face when she sees her best friend has flown in to town to be with her on this special night!
Can't wait to show you pics of the party!!
