Rosemary Infused Honey

Rosemary Infused Honey is such a yummy, unexpected treat! I am serving it along side Jalapeno Cornbread at my BBQ party this coming weekend and sending guests home with a jar of it as a favor.

The honey is easy to make and is delicious on a variety of foods. In fact, the first time I had it, it was served on an appetizer of crackers topped with blue cheese and scallions and drizzled with the honey...soooo good, especially when paired with a great white wine!

Here is the recipe.....

Rosemary Infused Honey
1 jar of Honey
3 sprigs of fresh Rosemary
1 tsp salt

In heavy small saucepan over low heat, stir together honey, rosemary, and salt. Continue heating, stirring occasionally, until fragrant, about 10 minutes. Strain through fine-mesh sieve into small bowl, discarding rosemary. Cool slightly, about 3 minutes.

For my guests who will be taking a jar of this deliciousness home with them after the BBQ as a party favor, I had the oh-so-fabulous, Jessica of Party Box Design, create a custom favor tag to tie to the jar! Love it!
