Costumes for the Pooch!

It's no secret that I LOVE Halloween! Fall is my favorite season....football, leaves changing colors, crisp mornings, pinecones, and of course, costumes at Halloween!
I am VERY lucky to have an extremely talented mom, who is an amazing seamstress, as I am not a buy-off-the-shelf-costume kinda gal! My mom has made my son his costumes for the past 4 years (a post on that coming soon!) and we are scheming on what kind of 'character' he wants to be this year. He's VERY into Starwars, I am NOT! However, I've (somewhat) learned my lesson that it isn't really about what I want him to be anymore.....I made him be Elvis last year and he cried for hours and wouldn't trick-or-treat because he wanted to be Batman. Ugh!
So, this year he has decided he wants Lola (the bulldog) to dress up with him! Partners in crime! This is what happens when your an only child...the dog gets dragged into dressing up! I LOVE it!
We have some ideas and think we are nearly settled (this will change 142 times before Halloween) on what we want, but I did a Google Image search on bulldogs in costumes......are you ready for this?!?!

Dog Vadar

Pimp Doggy-Dog

Pirate Jailbird Bee Devil

Old Lady

Monkey

Are these not hilarious? As if Bulldogs aren't funny enough looking on their own...throw a costume on them! : )

Can't wait to post pics of Lola all geared up for Trick-or-Treating!!
