One of my dearest friends asked me if I would be interested in designing her sons 4th birthday party. Are you kidding? Where do I sign up?!? I immediately bought the plane tickets (they're in Denver, Co....me, Tennessee!) and got to planning!
First question I asked her, "What is Ryder really into these days? What does he love?" She responded with, "Golf!" and that, my friends is when the Stars aligned! Ryder and Golf.....
The Ryder Cup
I couldn't wait to start planning and designing! Argyle! Argyle! Argyle!
I called my sister, who is the mastermind and designer of all things paper for Social Circles....we brainstormed and came up with some fun ideas. I worked on my part, she worked on the paper and it all came together fantastically!
Ladies & Gentlemen, Welcome to the 4th Annual Ryder Cup!
Our signature Painted burlap Banner.
The Registration Area was set-up for Golfers to sign-in and pick up their Team Visor and Player Badge.
The Personalized Lanyard Badges were one of my very favorite elements of the party! Kudos to my genius sister, Christi, for this idea and the incredible execution of it!
The Sweet Spot dessert table was set up in our pavilion with lots of yummy treats! The birthday boy does not like sweets at all, so we had to have some salty items as well! Our signature hand painted' tabletop drop runner' added the perfect amount of 'Golf' to the table.
The cookies designed and made by The Cookie Jar were phenomenal! Such amazing work!
The Sweater Vest cookies knocked my argyle socks off! Too cute!
Putting greens...
Bags!
The yummy Caddy Cupcakes were from the delightful Happy Cakes Bakery!
Irons & Woods...chocolate covered pretzel rods and plain!
Sand Trap (donut holes) & Chip Shots (potato chips)
Par-Tee Treat Bags!
The sweetest little Ryder Cup player, Ryder!
And it was time to hit the course and play a round!
Even the littlest Golfers come dressed in argyle!
Happy Birthday, Ryder Roo!
This party was held at Adventure Golf & Raceway in Denver. I cannot tell you how awesome this place is! Beautiful landscaping and gorgeous flowers EVERYWHERE! If you're in Denver, I highly recommend it for parties!
I hope you enjoyed the Ryder Cup!

Thank you ladies so much!!! It was so much fun to plan and design...definitely one of my all time favorites! Thank you for your kind words!
What an awesome party! Everything looks amazing. It's a challenge to design a child's party with a typically adult theme, but you did an amazing job!
I see that your party was featured on Catch My Party. Congrats! I would love for you to link it up to my party: http://phubie.blogspot.com/2010/10/get-link-party-started.html
