Yummiest Smore Inspired Dessert....Scout's Honor!

I'm testing a few recipes for the Camping Party. I wanted to find a yummy smore' inspired treat that could replace the 'traditional smore'. I have decided against any type of 'fire' at the party to make regular smores...the thought of a bunch of 2, 3 and 4 year olds running around that would make me a nervous wreck!
So I did a seach for all things SMORE' related and came across this YUMMY from The Sugar Mommas.

Sugar Mommas' Boy Scout Campfire Bars

Only 5 ingredients...the ones pictured plus butter and sugar!

Using food processor, making the graham cracker crust

Simply add melted butter to graham cracker and sugar mixture

Pat crust mixture into a foiled baking pan and bake until golden!

After baking crust and cooling, layer with mashmellows, then melted chocolate and top with another layer of marshmellows and chill.

Remove from pan, remove foil and cut......ENJOY!!!

These are so good that my eyes were literally rolling back as I sat at my dining table and savored every sweet bite!

These bad boys are most definitely making it on the 'Treat' table at the party!! This is such an EASY and DELICIOUS treat that will make every Camper happy!

CAMP FOUR PARTY

My favorite time of year is just around the corner! BIRTHDAY TIME!! My son, Chase, will be turning 4! I look forward to his birthday ALL year long! Well, not so much him getting older, as this makes my heart ache, but throwing him a very fun, special party is what makes me super happy! This year we're doing things a bit different...his buddy, Drew, and him are only a few weeks apart, so Drew's mom and I decided to do a double birthday party for the boys!
Coming up with a theme for these two was a fun challenge! You see, even though, Chase & Drew are best buddies, they really aren't 'in' to the same things. So, after racking my brain for something that would be unique and fun! I overheard a mom at the pool talking about how she just dropped her son off at Summer Camp and I started to reminisce about my years at summer camp.....ahhhhhhh, fun......then, the brain started churning, faster and faster with Summer Camp party ideas!

I did a search to see if I could find a Camping party to gain ideas from and WOULD YOU TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT I STUMBLED UPON?!?!? The most incredible Camping Party ever!

I'm using this party as inspiration (how awesome of a job did this momma do?!?) and putting my own signature details in it to make it my own!

My sister has created the most amazing invitations that are Tents! (will be posting them soon and they will be available for purchase soon too!)

Now, I'm off to test a Smore Bar recipe!

Nantucket Chic!

A friend of mine, who's darling daughter's birthday is July 4th, asked me to create some party items for her upcoming party. Instead of the typical red, white and blue, stripes and stars, we decided on going a little more nautical....Nantucket Chic! We used seersucker fabric, cream colored burlap, grosgrain ribbon and incorporated a little pink into the color scheme and some red and pink cute crabs made their way on to the scene! !
