Halloween Week~ Partygear

When I'm planning a party, I love to try and find or create my own unique items to include in my overall design...something that hasn't been seen before! And while planning, I think it's important to tie everything together with food labels, toppers, banners, centerpieces and I always have to have some elements of personalization...it just looks great and makes people feel good! : )

Halloween Week~ Invites

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays! Candy, costumes, parties....what's not to like? There are so many different directions you can take the holiday....you can make it scary, creepy, spooky, yucky, silly, funny, goofy...it's endless on how to make your Halloween party, costume, home decorations your own style! I'm not big on the whole scary, creepy, spooky and yucky concept...I'm more of a cutesy, funny, silly type gal. Maybe when my little guy gets older, I'll be forced to embrace the creepy aspect! : )

Today I want to share my very favorite Halloween party invites! ALL of them come from Party Box Designs!

This first one is my absolute favorite! Those four little munchkins make me laugh out loud! I love the colors she's incorporated into the invite! This would be perfect for a party with young trick-or-treaters! Too cute!

Great invite for a kids costume party! The fangs kill me! : )

I love this! I think I'm going to host our 'Girl's Night Out' group a 'Girl's Night In' get-together and send this darling invite!

The simplicity of this really speaks to me! This could be used for a variety of parties! Oh, how I love the candy corn!

Have a kiddo who's birthday falls around Halloween? This would be a great invite for a fun party!

I love the aesthetics of this invite! Great for a grown-ups party! Cocktails, anyone?

All of these wonderful invitations can be found HERE!

Golf Centerpieces

Wow, I was very surprised at the lack of golf party decor and centerpieces! I have some fun ideas up my sleeve for the little Golf Birthday party I'm designing, but we'll have to wait a few weeks for those pics!

What I did find, I really love....

I love the grass in the clear bowl, exposing it's roots and the sweet tee flag! Very cute!

I love how she tied the grass with ribbon and put a tee and ball in there!

I am totally digging the submerged golf balls in this beautiful arrangement!

I think a carnation ball set on top of a clear glass cylinder vase filled with golf tees would be perfect!

This cute place setting comes with a great tutorial found here!

Another inexpensive idea is to decorate with astro-turf...you know the fake grass carpet your grandmother (okay, MY grandmother) had on her back porch! Well, you can buy a large 'rug' of that at Home Depot for $20. You can cut it into golf green shape and add some sand to an area for a 'sand trap', also cut a hole in it and have a little flag coming out! It would make a very cute centerpiece!

Let me know if you have any great Golf party ideas for decorating!! Have a great weekend!

Clubhouse Cookies

Oh, how I love decorated theme cookies! It truly amazes me how talented these bakers are with these to-die-for cookies!

I have tried and tried to make decorated sugar cookies and let me tell you...it's NOT EASY! I can barely get the rolling of the dough done correctly, so you can guess what my royal icing looks like! Not cute! I have watched tons of tutorials on 'flooding' the icing, outlining, and so on and I'm pretty sure there aren't enough tutorials or classes in the world that's going to make any of my cookies even resemble what it's supposed to be!
So, thankfully there are a bunch of very talented people that ROCK at making little pieces of art on yummy cookies, just like the ones below.....

I love the monograms sweetly added to the cookies...nothing like personalization!

How cute are the golf greens with the 'sand' and 'water' and the pink golf bag!!

Calling all lady golfers!! Preppy pink polos, green & pink golf bags and the pink flags waving in the blue skies...precious!!!

Loving the letter for personalization!

The little lady bug was added to the ball because the father (cookie recipient) calls his daughter his 'Little Lady'! Too sweet!

This awesome PINK golf cookie set was a donation for a golf tourney to raise $ for the Susan G. Komen Fund! Brilliant!

Super cute cookies on sticks!

See you tomorrow for Golf party tablescape and decor ideas!
